Bennet, who is fully fluent in Mandarin, is the Head of HR Data Science at China Workforce Analytics, Merck. He was previously on the faculty of Human Capital Analytics and Technology at New York University. He is also the Principal and Founder of twenty-one analytics LLC, a people analytics and data- science consultancy focusing on advanced workforce analytics, workforce planning, and labor market analysis. Bennet is an experienced people analytics leader and speaker. Before twenty-one analytics LLC, he was the Head of Workforce Analytics at the Bank of New York Mellon, and a Senior Manager and Lead Analyst of HR Advanced Analytics for Pfizer, Inc.’s global commercial organizations. Bennet also co-organizes the New York Strategic HR Analytics meetup—a group of analytics practitioners and company leaders meeting to discuss hot-topics and pressing issues in people analytics. An economist by training, Bennet previously was an economist at the United States International Trade Commission focusing on international trade and labor market dynamics, and a research analyst at the International Monetary Fund. He holds a MA in International Economics and China Studies from the Johns Hopkins University SAIS - Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies, and a BA in Economics and Chinese (Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of Oregon.​
